We are committed to protecting and respecting your personal information and privacy.

This Policy explains when and why Lift Brands collects personal information about you. We may change this Policy from time to time. It is your responsibility to check our privacy policy on a regular basis. Your continued use of this website and /or our services constitutes your acceptance of this Policy and any amendments made to it.

Covid-19 temporary measures

During the Covid-19 crisis we may be collecting increased data at an earlier point to reduce the amount of physical viewings and/or valuations.  This data is being kept securely in line with this policy and will only be held for as long as it is required for the purpose intended.  We may temporarily be holding health details which you have informed us of and we confirm that these are held securely and only shared with those employees, contractors or connected third parties as necessary for the required purpose.  These are destroyed in line with this policy as soon as their required purpose ends. 

We confirm that employees working from home during this crisis have been trained in following the procedures outlined in this policy to protect your personal data.

We are Lift Brands UK Limited, a company registered in England with company number 07027212. Our ultimate parent company is Lift Brands, Inc.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our website, when you provide it to us or to our franchisees or, occasionally, from third parties.

Our Network

This privacy policy applies to information you provide to us and any group company which includes Lift Brands, Inc., Snap Fitness, Inc., GoFit LLC, HealthFran, LLC and Wholesale Fitness Supply, LLC “Group”.

What type of information do we collect?

The personal information we collect includes your name, email address, address and telephone number when you register with us or our franchisees or submit an enquiry.

We may also obtain:

  • cookie data which relates to your use of our website as to which see our separate cookie policy;
  • data sent from your browser to our server which may include:
    • the time, date and duration of your visit to our website;
    • the site from which you have come (the referral URL);
    • the pages visited on our website.

If you make a payment to us your payment details may be collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of such transactions and with whom we have a processing agreement requiring compliance with this Privacy Policy.

We may also collect information from you in connection with a service or product provided to you by us, third parties with whom we have entered into agreements to provide such services or products or which we are required to collect by law, for instance for money laundering checks, including personal information such as:

  • your date of birth;
  • financial or other identifiers including your bank account details and tax URN number when we take payments or make payments to you.

Who has access to your information?

We will not sell or provide your information to third parties other than to information processors with whom we have entered into contracts which require the information processors to comply in all respects with the requirements of this Privacy Policy and all legal requirements relating to information privacy.  We share data to the following types of company for the following purposes:

  • Service providers acting as processors based in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia who provide IT and system administration services, door access services, payment processing and website design services.
  • Lift Brands Franchisees who are based in the European Union for purposes of responding to your enquiries, entering into a contract with you, or performance of a contract.
  • Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers based in the United States who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.
  • Governmental tax authorities, regulators and other authorities based in the countries in which we operate who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.
  • Third parties with whom we partner for marketing purposes, for example, to sponsor contests or other promotions.
  • Public, legal and law enforcement authorities who require disclosure of personal data pursuant to applicable law, court order, subpoena, lawful request, including to meet national security, law enforcement and investigatory requirements.
  • Specific third parties such as Constellation Payment Processing USA, Inc., LT Network, AUS, Gym Sales, AUS, SendGrid USA, and MyZone UK LTD.
  • Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this Notice.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

Some of your “non-sensitive” details (such as your email address) may be transmitted over the internet and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Cookies collect statistical information about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. Our and our franchisors’ websites may contain links to other websites which we do not own but this privacy policy only applies to our website. We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites whether or not you access them using links from our or our franchisees’ websites.

Transferring your information outside of the UK

The information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the United Kingdom (“UK”) if any of our servers or our processors’ servers are located outside the UK. Countries outside the UK and countries within the European Free Trade Area (EFTA”) may not have equivalent information protection laws to those within the UK. We record telephone calls. We may also use web site recording services which may record mouse clicks, mouse movements, page scrolling and any text keyed into website forms. Information collected in such a fashion is for our internal use only. The information collected is used to improve our website useability and is stored and used for aggregated and statistical reporting.

We have CCTV cameras at our premises and in our car park.

Under 18?

We are especially concerned with protecting the privacy of children/minors. If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain your parent/guardian’s permission before providing any personal information. When providing personal information your parent/guardian should be with you to help you through this process.
